hi there, i am sorry for the delay in getting back to you. been away for a break lol.
this was a triple drop setup. gravity fed out of 3 nozzels, just a single speedlight set off camera and bounced of a sheet of purple card that i laminated for a richer reflection.
no photogate involved or any other type of trigger aid, just me and a shutter release cable.
lens was the sigma 70-300 apo dg with macro.
i do have a tutorial for my drop devices in my gallery should you be interested in how i make the device to drop the water.
using a flow regulator (hospital drip regulator) on both output nozzels constantly adjusting 1 nozel to get the impact.

hi, and thank you, for the set up for this shot i have a tutorial on it in my gallery that you are welcome to check out, the only addition to that tutorial for this shot is that i used a tripple drop. 2 drops to make the impact and a 3rd drop just in front. achieved by utilising a double valve outlet.
