You've got some very interesting droplet pics here!
also interesting background... what is it? And maybe it's a bit too colourful, i dunno.. but the colours looks great in the water, so maybe you should fade out the background a bit?
And what lense do you use?
Anyway, keep it up! Take care

thanks for taking the time to comment, it means a lot,
Now to try and answer your questions.
the background is a sequin art dragon my wife made for me. i find them great for getting color into my water.
the lens i use is the TAMRON AF 70-300MM 1:4-5.6 TELE-MACRO, I combine this with a set of macro extension tubes as this lens suffers with chromatic abrasion at its max zoom, and the 1.5 meter minimal focal length is a touch to far away, the extension tubes bring that down to half a meter and well within the capabilites of the budget lens.
i like the idea of of doing something with the background, i will give it a go and re post, and link to it here.

thanks again.

hey man
Nor problem at all!
And regarding to you lense use, that very special : o
But also cool! I mean it works very well, but when i saw the picture i wouldn't expect that to be shot with a 70-300 mm ^^
Why don't you buy a macro lens? they're not that expensive (not like i can afford one though >_< )
And instead of using a glass, maybe you should use a bowl, cos then you don't get that rather disturbing edge of glass...
Looking forward to see your new work
