Was done in an attempt to venture into "kawaii style". A Mary Sue sailor scout. Cygnus is the swan constellation in the milky way. I don't think this will be a thing.Related content

Hookay, this thing is quite old, and you stated that you donΒ΄t think this will be a thing, but I thought IΒ΄d ask nonetheless before the furious masses shred me to pieces -
So I was bored, and when IΒ΄m bored IΒ΄m using doll makers, just like any proper adult would do *cough*, and I kinda came up with a combination I like and want to keep for a Sailor Moon OC. I kinda want to name her after the Cygnus constellation because I think it would fit the pastel-y colours of her fuku, and just realised she has a similar skin tone and hair colour than yours up here.
Would you mind if I proceed nonetheless and call her Sailor Cygnus, or would you consider that some kind of stealing?

Oh dude pfft. I just made this when I was messing around with some friends trying to be "kawaii artists" for shits and giggles. I don't even consider it a character at all. Go ahead, I don't own the cygnus constellation much less a colour combination anyone in real life could sport. If anyone got mad at you for using a Sailor [Whatever] name because they also have one they're being ridiculous. There's only so many named planets and constellations, and it's free game for anyone to put their own fan interpretation on them.Β Even worse, if someone actually required you to ask permission for this sort of thing, your reaction should be to laugh at them.
You probably came up with a similar look because if I remember correctly I also used a popular SM doll maker to design it before hand.

She's super kawaii though!!! I don't think she's too mary-sue for the heavens know, there should be more dark-skinned scouts, be they OCs or not. Plus, your color scheme is not at all gaudy, I think it's quite pleasant for the role of a background character. Sure, warriors of justice based on constellations is more of a Saint Seiya thing but I wouldn't mind a spin-off set of sailor scouts if they get to be portrayed by individuals of various nationalities like Saint Seiya sorta does.
