I did a quick tutorial for people who don't know how to use it. It doesn't matter if you don't use Paint Tool SAI, I'm just using it in this tutorial as it's my program of choice. What you want is your eyedropper tool, which just about every program has and the symbol is universal between them, it'll just be located somewhere else. The eyedropper tool selects the colour of an area you click on and puts it into your colour swatches so you can paint with them.~Estherella Also suggests the Instant Eyedropper download which is a tool that downloads into your taskbar, you can identify colours without having to save or download images and the code can be placed into whichever program you use. Could I suggest the Instant Eyedropper download (works mostly for people who don't use SAI)?
Once you download it, you click, and it'll show up on your computer's taskbar. You can use it from any window, and it'll copy the code however you like, and you can place the code on whatever program you're using. It's really helpful for if you want to match colors that you find on the internet without having to save the picture.

You most certainly can. I didn't know about that! I'm pretty sure just about every program has it's own eyedropper tool located somewhere, but that is very useful and time saving nonetheless. Updated the description with your suggestion.
