Just updating it to the latest progress because it's not like It'll get done any time soon. I just touch it up now and again when I get bored. >_>-------------------------------
Re-vamp of an old work and something I'm now aiming to complete - but will take a while. Still very much in the early stages and need to fix her hair. It's a personal challenge to include as much colour as possible into every section of it instead of having just one colour skin, hair, eyes etc.

Even if this is a WIP, I must say that I find the idea/scene super beautiful ! Great work !

I absolutely adore mermaids and the soft, painted shading here only reeled me in that much further! My absolute favorite details are how well blended and expressive the face is, as well as how much the yellow eyes pop when paired with the long, flowing purple hair.
The shading under the boobs and hand feel kind of awkward, though. With a bit more transition or a softer edge, as there is with the arm, they'd be fine, but right now, the edge of the shading is just a bit too sharp and harsh.

I really like the colors! Really beautiful choices! I'm a big fan of underwater fantasy work, so I'm interested to see if this goes any further!

Although this will more than likely take a while to finish. So many different colours to shade. I haven't even put in her shells/scales yet.

Ah well, the better you get, the longer it's going to take to finish something...(which is weird and logical at the same time XD)
