Just one word: Amazing! (O.O)
Are the metal parts made of metal or are they made of another material, that is painted with metal paint? (Hope you get what I mean.)

Spunkychunks In reply to rottenbookworm [2012-02-25 22:51:59 +0000 UTC]

The handle is a 100% real 1920's brass gasoline pump handle
The other "metal" parts are almost all PVC piping that i painted/weathered
The needle is a knitting needle xD

Lichtreich In reply to Spunkychunks [2012-02-26 09:20:27 +0000 UTC]

was it expensive to make?
I'm really a fan of your masks and that syringe!

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

Spunkychunks In reply to Lichtreich [2012-02-26 09:49:15 +0000 UTC]

i actually paid around $85 for the gas pump handle on ebay, which is expensive but worth it. the rest of it was mostly PVC piping, some nuts and bolts, and acrylic paint

the masks were good ol' paper mache, as cheap as it gets lol

if you end up making either for yourself, let me know if you need any advice along the way, i'd be happy to help ^-^

Lichtreich In reply to Spunkychunks [2012-02-26 10:05:18 +0000 UTC]

I guess it's not possible to get a pump handle like that here in Germany but thanks for the explanation!
Maybe I will try, very cool!

Thanks!
