So here it is FINALLY done after much patience!! And yes! It glows! :3So this was made for an upcoming con. Me and a few friends decided to cosplay Bioshock. I am the little sister (I'm about 5 feet tall XP)
So of course, you HAVE to have the adam extractor. Me and my dad worked on this for a few weeks now and I'm really proud of how it turned out and I can't thank my dad enough for putting up with my perfectionism. Hehe!!
How this was made: I bought a brand spankin' new fuel nozzle from a company on eBay. Keep in mind that this was not an antique AT ALL. It was the shiniest silver ever. What I basically did was beat the hell out of it with various tools like a hammer. Sprayed it with anti-rust paint (Which makes it look rusty lol) filled in the scars with black acrylic paint, and basically put some on an old toothbrush and went crazy! This was the funnest part to do! The needle is just an old paintbrush that I whittled down to a point. Put fake blood on the end and there you go. We added a basic jar to the mix. The actual adam is just hair gel mixed with a little water and fake blood. And don't forget the baby bottle nipple on the top! :] Adding the light was the trickiest part but I think it turned out amazing. The photos don't really give it justice but trust me, it's rad!
Thanks for looking!

How did you make it light up?? That's the part I'm having trouble with on mine. I don't know how to do the wiring to make it light up. Any chance you could post some pictures and a tutorial of how you wired it?

My dad helped out a lot with it. I'd have to ask him for the exact details. But as far as I remember, we just had an LED light we bought at like...Radio Shack I think. It was literally like a dollar and it was just one, bright white little bulb. Then we wired it to a small battery pack which is located in that back part. You simply screw off the end there to change the batteries. We have a button that my dad somehow fit into the top portion so when you pull the handle, it clicks the button on and off and turns on the light. But like I said. That's all off the top of my head. I'll ask him tomorrow when he gets off work.
