May I ask, how do you avoid posterizing when working with dark colors?

I use the hsb slider in ps, and keep the tones the same value, above 0% solid, love working in dark muted colours.

that very good, but I'm losing the figure and the rest of the foreground, I can see that it's supposed to be dark, but it's difficult to see the man, I'd suggest lightening the foreground a little, doesn't have to be a lot, to help bring him closer to the viewer. Other than that it's freaking awesome

At my eyes, this is one of your best deviations. It is hard to get the good lighting on a night scene, but you are doing it perfectly on this artwork. The city looks great, and realistic as well.

But the most beautiful thing for me is searching for the tiny details on buildings. Look how they appear through the dark when you look at too long.

First thought was it reminds me of Blade Runner, looking at the other comments I agree with the Matrix and Dark City comparisons. Another awesome image I feel like I'm looking out of a window with the figure just in front of me. What a dark Bleak looking city, don't think I fancy living there at all!

Good call Eleni, weirdly, I had it a lot lighter at sketch stage for that reason, but it got darker without realising as I went along, edited accordingly
