Description My wife wanted something for the wall at work, something she can lose herself in for a few minutes now and again, an escape...

(printed and framed up at a large size, the faux windowframe should come into it's own, not a new concept I know, but hopefully serves the purpose)

I love the frame of the window, the subdued palet and the mystery...definitely a place to loose yourself.

I love this.
I'm having trouble determining whether the buildings are destroyed or progressing.

This is wonderful

I'd love to be able to paint like this, even the now almost 'generic' speed painting style... if i could pull that off, i'd be much happier.

Maybe Gnomon do something which could help me...

Excellent piece that lighting is flawless, and the entire piece has perfect semetry. Uh and btw som1 else commented on wondering what city that is......
speaking from a fan's point; that could be Atlantis
as in the one from the tv show???
The Architecture of the buildings looks exactly like the building from Atlantis.

Wondering if this was intentional or accidental???

Either or, it a sweet piece!

just googled, yeah, pretty generic scifi buildings, can feel the need to compare, but can assure you that they were painted from imagination, they were a continuation from the cityline painted in - [link] , a background I did in 2006 (have another version unfinished that was to be used in a Camilla Belle interview for Flaunt Mag)

They do? cool, lost track of where they go nowadays, don't get to find out the resellers so they crop up all over without my knowledge it's weird losing control of your work, necessary evil though.
