Built a simple inflatable take on Yoshi using Blender's cloth physics just to see how quick that would be (2 hours total if I remember the starting time right). Unlike my usual approach with physics I didn't actually connect the separate pieces like the arms and nose, just placed them so they'd end up in the right spot when inflated without gravity. I think that's how most people do physics inflatables, the physics at those connections tend to get pretty wonky anyway and they're a real pain to build.
