Most of the time, what I've wanted to say about a piece, had already been said. Besides, if you are into the giant popularity contest that DA is, favorites gets your stuff potentially viewed from other people's pages, which is better than a comment most of the time.

I do thank you. I only comment if I have something to say rather than that it's really good. And considering how I suck at art myself, despite enjoying watching the amazing talent here, I hardly ever have any kind of comments about particular parts I like or much less any kind of constructive criticism.
