The design in the middle kinda reminds me of fractal art. Very cool. I have very little patience with inks, so props to you.

I'm fond of tattoos - this would be perfect - and the turtle in itself has such a mandala quality, it really brings me to meditation - very good

Cool! It brings to mind Oceanic/Polynesian designs - Particularly in your heavy application of dark values. This is a great symmetrical layout, too.
