This one was fun. I may have gone a little nuts with the stripes. I really like hyenas, and I rarely see people liking the striped kind. And Gnolls are pretty awesome as well. I was given a pretty free reign of the design, so I hope you like it!

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?
The prompt was pretty open. Species and a general idea. I kind of like reign of freedom, but it also makes me a little nervous I won’t make what the writer wanted.

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?
I’ll be honest, I had to look up exactly what Space Opera meant. I was hoping for singing, haha! Though in all honesty, I did like the idea. I went with a design that could be a warrior or space pirate. Going with a 30/70 rule from Treasure Planet. Space operas appeared to have an old feel mixed with tech. The sword is an energy sword made to look like an old scabbard.
