Description
Practicing with my new tablet. I started drawing a face... followed by hair... before I knew it I was drawing Vanderbeam from Kris Straub's superb scifi-comedy webcomic, Starslip Crisis .Sorry, Kris.

Awesome stuff. I met Kris this year at Comic con. He's one cool dude.

He is indeed. He and I almost, but not quite, work together. Top bloke.

i think the scribbly lines make the pic. not everything is meant to have perfectly straight lines. unless its a politician, then the branch going up their ass must be straight. Very good work.

Looks good! Surprisingly, less English than I pictured Vander'd look. More surprising that the British Sci-Fi guy drew him to seem less condescending and superior... Good work!

Wait... *you're* Squirminator2K? The same guy as on the PA forums? *brain melts*
Nice sketch, by the way.

Vanderbeam never struck me as the unibrow type. Very nice.

Thanks! I personally think it's a little too scribbly for my liking, but that's something I can work on.
