"Go for it..." she said... As if it were something easy... Well, here you are, now it is your turn! (You know who I am talking about )

After creating my first dice box - www.deviantart.com/squirrel-sl… - I felt I have enough experience to finally make the box properly. So I made this one for my girlfriend for the dice set I had given to her for her birthday. The quality is still not on a professional level but most things went right this time, with the exception of magnets; they are too strong this time and it is quite difficult to open it. Well, at least the dice will not get lost.

The whole box was made by me this time from components bought in our local store for (radio controlled and other) model creators and hobyists. Thats' why it is not exactly squared. It is stained, varnished with epoxy resin and has the logo made with acrylic paint. The rolling tray/lid is inlaid with felt (no leather this time) and the dice insert is made from several layers of very cheap foam from our stationery shop.

The dice are made from zircon glass with a phoenix logo on d20 and when they roll they cast little reflexions and glints in all the colours or rainbow all around. They are very pretty and magical and... well... shiny (The set fits my girlfriends dnd character, high elven wild sorceress who has a talent to set things on fire.)

Oh, and that is my girlfriends new kitty doing some testing rolls on the last picture.
