Hamlet characters. In chibi. =3Just something spawned from English class back when we were studying Hamlet. The class did a mock-trial thing where everyone acted as a character. We all had name tags, and I ended up drawing one of these on each of them. It was rather fun.
Sort of stole the chibi style from ~Gojyoslvr4EVER , my awesome junior-buddy Lauren.
Hamlet (c) Shakespeare? Sort of.. I don't think they had copyright laws back then.

These are adorable! I'm reading Hamlet now and I've been illustrating what's been going on with my own versions of the characters. It's fun!

Awesome! Did you use the Branagh film adaptation for reference? I only ask because of the 'staches on Hamlet and Laertes. 
I'd say my favorite would have to be Fortinbras. Or Laertes. Or R&G, I love those guys.

Yes I did use the Branagh version! At the time I had just finished watching it in my literature class. I'm glad you like!
I actually haven't seen the Branagh film since that day. But a few weeks ago I saw the David Tennant version, and now the 'stache is forever wiped clean from my mind's version of Hamlet. x3

Haha, we watched that in my class, too! That definitely was not was I was expecting him to look like, as I'd seen the Mel Gibson version before...however, that...face was just burned into my mind the entire time we read the book.
Oh, and, of course, once I found out that it was in fact Kenneth himself, I could no longer see him as Hamlet but as Professor Lockhart with bleached hair and a funny 'stache/soul patch.
Yeah, it's a well-done film, but I don't know if I'd watch it again...it follows the book verbatim, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to keep up, because I'm not smart. 
Oh gosh, I need to see that version! My friend kept telling me about it, but I never got around to watching it...is it good? (Of course, there'll be a lovely Hamlet, so even if the movie itself wasn't good, there would be that incentive.

why did you draw ophelia like that? its rathe odd. and you forgot prince hamlet. and didn't horatio have curly hair?

Prince Hamlet is the very first one I drew there. How could I forget 'im! :3
As for Horatio, he doesn't absolutely need to have curly hair.. These characters are played by different people all the time. I suppose I mostly based these off of the Kenneth Brown film adaptation, but there's really nothing specific I was going for.
I drew Ophelia like that because she did go insane by the end of the story.. She committed suicide because her boyfriend was a jerk and her father got murdered.
