I ended up picking this one-shot because I love end of the world stuff. And also because it reminds me of these recurring dreams I have where me and my neighbors will be standing at the edge of my lawn and watching as the horizon catches fire.

ACK! 2012 makes me mighty nervous. I know it's probably all silly superstition, but who knows, y'know?
Oh it's creepy as hell. It's like we'll all suddenly gather at the edge of my yard and there's all these trees and the whole horizon is just blood red and no one moves, because there's like... NOTHING that we can do except for sit and wait for it all to come to us.

I feel the same way about that date... it's a little unsettling. =/
The only apocalypse-ish dream I've had was where I was in an abandoned playground in the middle of nowhere. All the playground equipment was melted/deformed and there were robot wolves after me. o_o

Yes... robot wolves. I hid underground with a bunch of mouse-folk. There were metal bars over the entrance and the wolves just sat there... When they left, I tried to sneak out, but they came back, and the door was closed... and then I woke up (thank god).
And now... I want to write that into original fiction. Because it scared me enough to scar me for life.
