Snowflake 2 seems better... I like minibrots, but they are unfit for flowers, in my opinion. The textures are very nice though.

No problem with the minibrots. It was actually a surprise as I thought I was working with some obscure julia formula and then while zooming I found several minibrots. In all actuality, I decided to build those flowers/snowflakes around the minibrots after they were found.

Did you, really? Could you tell me which formula you were zooming, and more or less where? I've been hunting for minibrots for a huge time. xD

Ah...this makes more sense now that I look at the formula.
Not as obscure as I thought this one was. It's julia2 start in dmj. No wonder a minibrot showed up.

Do you actually know where to look for minibrots? I have no clue about that, and I'd be glad if you could tell me.

Hrm...this is a really hard thing to explain simply via text.
You want to zoom in on the "outskirts" of the mandelbrot image.
[link] <-- This is a good place to start looking.
Increase your iterations to around 1000 or more. That will help as well.
