Whoo! Made it to round 2!For ~Pure-Escapism contest!
Not nearly as happy with this piece as I was with the one I made for round one but meeh I'm terrible with love topic things.
This piece like the first one is based on a theme from a song which this time I got Vertical Horizon-Everything You Want [link] When I was listening the song I couldn't help but see the situation play through like one of those mazes mice and rats are forced to go through. She's so close to the end of the struggle but she just keeps turning to everything else and won't go his way. So yeah more abstract things here and I'm not sure about it again

A very interesting concept! When I see this, I definitely think of the line, "But I mean nothing to you and I don't know why." Particularly when I see the mouse in the corner. But I definitely can picture the song when I see the whole piece.
The colors you chose are also very nice! The colors in the background definitely give me a feeling of some hopelessness, but then I see the one corner with the one mouse, I think of the chorus.
