“Well, that guy was really mean. I don’t like him…” Tikay turned to look at the small torchic. He was looking back up the ladder ware a loud slam could be heard of the entrance closing. Stunned with disbelief Tikay stood starring into the empty white void of the fog. Tikay turned with her head down and started walking randomly towards Tao village. She wasn’t sure exactly where the doctors were located; seeing that they hadn’t set up a permanent settlement for their business as far as Tikay knew. “Well then… let’s go help the doctor seeing how useless we are.” A look of concern ran across Gabi’s face as she picked up Will and held him tight as she fallowed Tikay. They walked blindly into the square; neither of them knew which direction to go. Slowly they passed the large shadow; unaware that its gaze was fallowing them as they passed through the fog. Tikay held her head low very distracted with her thoughts as she walked. Gabi steadily fallowed looking around for any sign of the doctors. “Hey Tikay! Do you know where we are going?” Gabi probed Tikay for a response but she had become strangely silent. Never had Gabi seen her like this… not since…

Up ahead through the fog a dim outline of a large tent was slowly beginning to emerge. Gabi perked at the sight and ran towards it. “Tikay over here; I found something!” Tikay lifted her gaze for a moment and changed here direction of travel as she began to slowly make her way to her teammates. Gabi paused for a moment to let Tikay catch up then made her way into the tent. Inside the tent drifted a nauseating odder. Gabi gasped as her sight fell on the many feeble Pokemon that were strewn across the floor. The sound of moaning drifted through the air as many blanketed Pokemon tossed and turned. Tikay, who was now entering the tent, came to screeching halt at the sight that lay before her. “What wrong with everybody?” Tikay uttered as she scanned the room for any healthy Pokemon to talk to. Will jumped down from Gabi’s hold and ran over to inspect the sick Pokemon. “Will don’t get close to them!” Gabi called out at the torchic, who stopped and turned to look up at her. “Why? What’s wrong Gabi?” a bewildered look painted his face as he turned to look back at a nearby Pichu. Will’s gaze caught Tikay’s attention. She turned to look at the small Pichu wrapped in a flimsy blanket. Tikay felt a rush of sorrow washed over her at the sight of the sickly Pichu. She was trembling, hugging a lone mareep doll in her grasp. Her face was glowing red and drops of sweet rolled down her face. Tikay became increasingly concerned. This Pichu was incredibly young but no one around seemed to be paying attention to her condition. In fact Tikay scanned the tent no one appeared to be not one living soul watching over these sickly Pokémon at all. “This is wrong! You can’t just leave these Pokemon all by themselves! Ware is the doctor?!?”

“That voud be me.” Tikay quickly turned around to locate who had spoken. The flap that leads to the outside of the tent was being held open by a lone golduck. He entered and eyed Tikay over. “Vell zhen I’m ze doctor.” Slowly the golduck circled around team star seekers looking them over. “zhes be perfect! You can assist us vith gathering zhe ingredients!” Tikay looked skeptically at the golduck. “What do you mean?” The golduck let out a small smirk and continued with his inspecting. “Vell I merely request zhat you go retrieve ze supplies for zhe medicine. Ze Medicine will cure all ze Pokemon you see before you. Sadly I did not come prepared for zhis many people.” The golduck approached Tikay and held out his hand. “Do you wish to do zhis?” Tikay paused for a moment to gather her thoughts. Obviously she wanted to help but this task was rather sudden. “Umm… sure” The golduck took hold over here hand and gave it a rough shake. “Vounderful! You vell need to find zhree items ve need. Ze first vould be ze seaweed. You can acquire it in ze Cobalt Lake. You vell also need to visit ze sapling village and gather ze spores! Lastly ve need ze glowing flower of ze creepy forest.” Tikay face perked up and flicker of thought flashed in her gaze. “Wait a moment I know where to find the glowing flowers!” Gabi looked over at Tikay. This sudden mood change had her startled. “You do?” Tikay face was brimmed with a smile as she became rather motivated. “Yah! Back when I was a nomad I came across this rift in a valley. Inside were enough flowers for everyone in Tao village to have one!” Tikay was grinning as she continued with the details of its location. Gabi let out a sigh. It was nice to see her partners face beaming with life again. “This is great Tikay! We can gather the flowers first then get the rest!” Tikay was all worked up and eager “Let’s go right away so we can help these Pokemon!” Will ran up to Tikay and began to frantically jump up and down. “Does this mean were going on an adventure!?” The little torchic was trembling with excitement as he waited for the response. Tikay looked at her teammates and let out a loud cry. “You bet we are! The first quest with all of us together!”

Doctor Quaak led them out and told them to hurry time was of the essence for some of these pokemon. They headed across the plains towards the large expanse of trees, which was the Creeping forest. Will the torchic was hoping along. Rather than walking he made it his goal to make a large trail of green patches along his way. They journeyed deep within the forest. The cold here was a lot less harsh but light snow fall still fell from the sky. It was a strange sight to Tikay, as most of the ever green leaves remained on their branches in a seemingly winter environment. Something was bugging Tikay. As they approached their destination the trees around them appeared to be damaged. Gabi was shacking from the cold. Her face showed obvious sign of concern. “Tikay… what are these markings?” Tikay stoped and began to expect them. “I don’t know Gabi … They look like claw marks!” Tikay ran her hands over the groves of the tares. These marks weren’t here back when she last traveled through this area. Gabi began breath heavily. She would never tell anyone why, but Gabi always detested going into forests, especially the creeping forest. “Y-you don’t think Slasher made them do you?” Tikay shuck her head there was something off with these gashes. “Don I don’t think so… If you look closely enough, the marks appear as if who had them had around four or five claws; If I’m not mistaken, Slasher only has three.” Gabi began to look around franticly. “But if It wasn’t Slasher then… w-who made them.” Tikay looked up and felt the wind blow around her. “I’m not sure Gabi but we shouldn’t let it bother us now there’s work to be done”
