One more commission from colored.This one's a dear favorite from my childhood, since I loved the original "I Dream of Jeannie" series, and the animated series (except for the dumb genie-in-training Babu).
Not knocking Barbara Eden, but I LOVE the fact they made the Animated Jeannie a redhead! ^_^

If I wished to Jeannie, I'd wish to see her, Dick Dastardly, and Muttley on the Laff-A-Lympics. (long story!)

Oh I know about the whole story about the copyright owners of Jeannie, Dick and Muttley not being allowed on Laff-A-Lympics. I'd have liked to seen them on there as well.

I plan on doing a fanfic that revives the Laff-A-Lympics that involves Dexter's team that represents old CN and Finn and Jakes' team that represents new CN and a New Really Rottens captained by Dick Dastardly and Muttley that represents their villains and this time they actually do come from other shows.
the new announcers would be Muscle Man from "Regular Show" and Lumpy Space Princess from "Adventure Time". I planned on a scene where they interview Babu since he is a veteran of the original series, Babu points out Jeannie can't come with him because "Sony won't allow it". (coincidentally, Mark Hamill voices Cory Anders in Jeannnie and Skips the Yeti in Regular Show)

I'll be honest, I am not a big fan of either "Regular Show" or "Adventure Time". Seeing Muscleman and Lumpy Space Princess taking over the roles of Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf... well, I'd consider it a bit of a smack to the face of fans of the original L-A-L series.
But it's your fic, and your choice.
And yes, I was aware that Mark was the voice of Cory and Skips. He's one of my favorite V.A.s in Animation in general.

I figured you wouldn't like those two with Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf's jobs so I planned a scene where the two show up and critisize Muscle Man and LSP for their jobs.
Snagglepuss: You made a mockery of our jobs, you show your bare chest on TV, You make fun of your mother even!
Muscle Man: Why do you sound like The Funky Phantom?
Also Muscle Man constantly makes the mistake of asking former members of the Really Rottens "What show did you come from?" Mumbly and the Dalton Brothers seem to be exceptions to this.

The cool thing about Babu was that he was voiced by Curly from the Three Stooges - I think - other than that, yeah, he was pretty worthless. But Jeannie herself was awesome. Cute, too.

Close! Babu was voiced by Joe Besser, who filled in as the third stooge for 16 episodes after Shemp died and before Curly Joe DeRita took over.

That's what it was - I couldn't remember if he was one of the originals or a replacement. Still, that's pretty cool.
