Sorry for the wait! I've been really busy lately and felt the need to do a simple yet pleasing to the eyes sci-fi project today to fill the void of lost time.Tools:

Planet Texture: Pluto Texture Map 2k (not really Pluto, but a moon of Jupiter)
Galaxy + Stars: One , Two
Process/Method:
I wanted to see what it would look like to have everything flow in a single direction.
Circle Marquee is your friend + moon/planet texture > Filter > Distort > Spherize
Layer Adjustments > curves (for shadows) > Color Exposure > Color Balance
New layer > Apply Image > Set layer to top > Mess around with layer effects to get what you want
