Raven Spirits....Dance your magic with the stars....
Acrylic on 3 Turkey feathers then lightly enhanced digitally to remove most of the feather element and add more to the image itself.
I would be curious to know which one people like better.

I have to say that I like these digitally enhanced versions more simply because the actual image is bigger and looks more whole.

Your feather paintings are beautiful. Pretty as this version is, I prefer the upload of the feathers as they are, without the digitally enhanced background. I think seeing the limits you had to work in adds more punch to your art.

I actually like this one better, but I do like the opportunity to see both - i.e. what the final product looks like as a 'product', and what the picture looks like as a 'picture', if that makes any sense at all.

Both versions are absolutely beautiful. I think I like this one better if I were to purchase a copy as it is easily matted and framed. That being said, the feathers are so unique and beautiful. It's really a hard call.

I like this better, minus the turkey feathers - but truly, it's stunning either way. I really love the ravens in the night sky, and I'm often reminded of the night sky when I see their wings. Beautiful.
