"Yeah, they weren't accidental. I'm not into that. Both he and I wanted a family, and well, we decided we wanted this." she said simply, smiling calmly, but she felt....unsettled. His expression had gone from somewhat happy to....she couldn't put a paw on it, but it made her nervous. His posture seemed to grow more stiff almost, as if the discomfort from earlier had returned. Chione watched, eyes narrowing slightly, forehead furrowing. Was there...something wrong with it? Had she done something wrong again? Chione felt confused. What had she done to get this reaction from him? A spark of nervousness went through her, chilling her slightly. The female honestly felt really, truly, baffled.

"You never really wanted a mate, did you?"

Chione froze completely, feeling a chill go down her spine. It felt like the breath had been robbed from her lungs, leaving her feeling like she needed to gasp for air. She honestly felt....hollow. Did he...was that really what he thought? Was that all he though that she was? As quickly as the shock came, it left, leaving behind fiery anger. Before she could reign the strong emotion in, she had stood up, claws digging into the soft earth, "Who are you to tell me what I want?!" her voice cracked with anger, "I wanted a mate! I wanted to be in love! But this damn world seemed to be against me being happy! Do you understand what it's like, Kronk, to have everything get gradually worse and worse till you don't even know if you'll be able to escape from it?! Don't go and fucking make assumptions about me!" Glistening tears had begun making their way down her cheeks, unbeknownst to her. The tiny she-cat slammed her white toed paws into the earth, tattoo activating from her anger, causing sparks to fly from the contact with the ground. "You have NO right to just waltz back into my life after 6 moons and tell me what I want and don't want in life!" her voice was venomous, anger seeping from every aspect of her being, from her voice to her posture.

But above all else, it hurt. It hurt so much.
