Amun, on FA, made notification in a journal that he was accepting commissions briefly before closing up and then redoing his prices.

Each reference sheet I've gotten done to show my 'sona before has been nice, but they were freebies I was either offered or won as a prize for something like a kiriban. They weren't commission pieces, where I had the flexibility to ask for particular levels of detail and particular revisions (well, I could have, but when someone offers you effort like that for free it'd be really asinine to be picky). Plus my character is being used (or has been used) in stories or pictures before, and without a reliable and accurate reference picture for the writers/authors to work from there have been details that are constantly missed. I have a bio for the character in my Scraps, but it's a lot of text. It's no surprise things slip by.

I jumped on the opportunity Amun presented and at the reasonable price he asked (that price will be changing for future pieces, so you'll have to ask him what the new rate will be) I went for the most ideal piece I could get of my furry (scaley) avatar.

Wow, did Amun ever come through! This turned out spectacularly. Amun was extremely professional during the process, and the picture came out better than I could have hoped. It's a tricky thing, settling not just on wanting a reference piece of your character, but actually settling on an artist who's style fits the way you envision them. I've been a fan of Amun's works for a long while now, and I'm glad Amun was the one I approached. His style fits the scientific and modern theme my character is based around perfectly.

This picture is intended to be nothing more than a very basic physical reference. The bio in my Scraps includes all the mumbo-jumbo like clothing, and if I'm doing some really fantasy/sci-fi rp or the like it also lists equipment and abilities. But for picturing the character none of that really matters, so it's not included here.

This also is the 'Clean' version, because it's a nude picture intended to show not just the character's body, but the genitals are omitted. My character's proper body features a horizontal slit at the groin that houses his equipment, and when Amun drew the tail the way he did it also became neccessary to include the anus, since the tail was down far enough it would have been anatomically incorrect to not include it. In this picture those have been cleared out.
