I didn't get just one taur slot from  Sciggles . I got two!

This one is her concept of Ichi-gou (  www.furaffinity.net/view/61210… ,  www.furaffinity.net/view/63754… ,  www.furaffinity.net/view/89300… ), my fire-ant anthro, as a taur.

I've never played with them at all, but a few people commented that the end result looked a lot like a Formian.

Either way, cool looking end result. And Sciggles said it was the most interesting taur she'd worked on at that point. Something I like for people to keep consistent is Ichi-gou's frozen expression (a shell-covered face doesn't change much, after all), and his eyes are always narrowed in a perpetually angry look with the way the shell is formed around them. Sciggles kept that going in this, which was a nice extra touch.

No idea if I'll use the character in this form at any point, but maybe at some point in the future it could come up.

Looks pretty cool. She is like an ant themed centaur.

Because of the centaur anatomy, this would probably classify as a decapod rather than a true insect, due her having 10 limbs as opposed to 6. The weapon looks like some kind of Glaive-Guisarme.

Slight tweak:  He

While sexless, Ichi's gender is male.

But thanks for taking a look at the character!  Glad you thought they were interesting

Sorry about that. I assumed "she", because the anatomy closely matches that of female fire ants. Hymenopteran species, such as ants, are sexually dimorphic. Actual male ants (drones) are not quite like the traditional depictions. They possess a set of wings, have shrunken heads, and enlarged compound eyes. Many people confuse male ants for flies. In terms of fire ants, the male also tends to be black in colour, rather than the red-orange hues we tend to associate with their species.
