Luke discovers the Ice Glyph in Owl House Season 1 Episode 12 - Adventures in the Elements, after following Eda's advice and learning how to make a connection with Boiling Isles AKA The Titan. Discovering the Ice Glyph in a snow flake taught our goggle-headed hero to value of understanding nature.

By embedding and activating the Ice Glyph, the blade becomes coated in ice, crystalising into a blade of pure ice emitting cold air. Luke is able to CHILL OUT foes with Ice-based attacks from his ice sword, impaling them with icicles and even freeze them in a block of ice. Now that's COLD!
