Description
A random alien race I made up several months ago. They were inspired by the raven mech suits in MGS4. ( [link] ) I originally started making a similar crane robot, but got annoyed at having to cater to the human operator and went entirely alien. I like being able to stylize a form with no anatomy restraints. :3They have more of a carapace instead of skin, with more fleshy bits at the joints. The only really curvy bits are the neck and tail. They live in the desert and are pretty fragile beings, so they've survived by gaining sentience and living in tribes. As such, they have some ceremonial clothes and things, but I didn't include them.
I've got a world worked out for these guys, with a few interesting species, but I'm not sure if I'll ever use them. None of them have names either, which makes it hard to describe them to my friends.

Are there any females of this species? And what does their cultue consist of?
I have no drawing expertise so that's all I can offer. You did give them a very sleek and remarkable shape to them which I admire.

There are females, but the body shape is the same as the males. The only differences are probably the amount and shape of the head spines. Their culture is very desert-tribal. They live in huts and dance around the bondfire and all that cool stuff. :3 Oh! There's another piece that's posted in my scraps with a couple extra things in it: [link]

Ah, so little differs in the men and women. Do they act different or have different personalities or does the race as a whole just act as default male?

I haven't made any characters of the race, so their personalities and cultural norms aren't worked out. They're very curious little critters, and probably have a little sexual dimorphism in terms of personality, seeing as how they're a tribal culture.
Though whenever I listen to the album "This Binary Universe" by B.T. I always think of my character Matthew crash-landing on their planet.
Fun fact: they live on the same planet that is the setting for my comic Landing Party. Assuming I ever make it that is... ^^:

Would still like to see a character of this race a bit more though. They seem really interesting and it would be awesome to see a personality developed from this background.
