This would be the last full night of sleep Twilight Sparkle would have for months, as she learns how hard it is to raise a baby dragon and that is far more than just cuddling. From the nightly cries for food and attention, to his desire to horde and/or eat everything in sight, watching over Spike was a full time job.
Of course she had a lot of help from Shinning Armor, Candance, and members of the Royal Staff, even Princess Celestia would occasionally babysit so Twilight could have sometime to study.
I hope you don't mind my writing, it's just something I do for art work I really like.
