Ahadi and Taka sharing a father son... moment.Poor little Taka
I'm really liking this design of Ahadi though (:
I wanted him to have that "Brute Strength" look about him (Mufasa's build) but a few of his own unique characteristics. Also his mane is similar to Simbas. I tend to think Simba may have carried on a few of his grandfather's traits. (: I picture him with a voice similar to Mufasa's, deep and proud, yet a bit more scary. A lot like The Beast. Deep and growling (:

I suspect as a cub Scar heard the word "disappointment" a lot.
He would've been ostracized for his inferior physique, constantly looked over in favor of his older brother, and he must've felt like he was never good enough.

This .... is .... so sad and beautiful that no words until. I love Taka (Scar), Zira their children. This was not bad, but all these events changed him, but he could love, and the best example of this is that he had a family. Β

Zira's influence may have changed Scar when he met her. Ahadi may have contributed to that too; since he wasΒ concerned about him. He wonderedΒ why he couldn't learn and follow Moufasa's example. Β Ahadi tried telling Taka that even if Moufasa becomes king, itΒ shouldn't change their relationship as brothers.

I like your Ahadi design. I tried to make mine more similar to the books, he's well-intentioned, but he didn't have a kind father, and wants nothing to do with the cub who will never be King.

Wow ! This is really amazing ! I truely love your Ahadi's design ! He indeed looks so strong and powerful, and his fluffy chin is amazing ! And poor little Taka, he looks so scared !

Poor Taka. I like your Ahadi despite I kinda don't think Ahadi was never a "brutal father" being if he was, Mufasa would have been like a monster. Parts of me just thinks Taka was just a spoiled brat that was jealous of his brother. Either way, I do feel bad for Taka here though.

Yeah I completely understand! Actually, I don't think Ahadi was a brutal father either... Just to Taka XD You'll have to check out some of my up coming pictures to find out why. (: In ways, I feel sorry for Ahadi, he indeed suffers from a broken heart. Taka is just a reminder of it, and there for, Ahadi resents him π: 2 β©: 0

I can't tell it's rushed, very well done. But kind of that made me think like "ZOMFG maybe Vitani got her blue eyes from her grandad according to this design, WOW" XD
