Description Story: Robin of Loxley and his Marian return to their rightful land, ceeded by King Richard and restored to the happy couple as part of a generous dowry.

Production Note: The first trailer. It was also the first one I was inspired to sketch out. It also came together the easiest of the four. I was kind of blank as far as what title to use, then by providence, that song by Edwin McCain came on the radio. Voila! It seemed rather appropriate.

(C) 1973, 2011 Disney Animation Studios

This is one of a few "trailers" for a possible webcomic (working title: Loxley & Scarlet) that would be produced in the relatively near future, speculating on a story that would take place some time after the first movie, with King Richard back in power. Whether or not it actually happens depends on what kind of response they get. I want to thank Mr. Chris Fischer, as well as fellow deviants freezing-ice-kirby, Jodi-Seer, Abydell, Phraggle, Fikey, Fpeniche, Jubilations, Cheetor182, keenfox, and any others I may be forgetting (apologies) for inspiring us to try it. (Check out their most excellent art right now, if you haven't before.) Special thanks to freezing-ice-kirby for keeping a secret.

Why not have Marian telling Robin that She is pregnant???

Trust me...if we ever get this thing produced as a comic, Robin will have enough problems! (See the next trailers.) Thanks for the suggestion, though.

I think the picture looks pretty good. Well done. I hope you get the responses that you are looking for. I'd definitely be interested in reading your web comic, so good luck with it.

Ah, thanks. As I'll also share with the next trailer, I had the opportunity to do a lot of fancy litho elements, like shading, but I forsook that to go for more of a cel-on-background look. One of the things I like about "Robin Hood" is the sketchy storybook look of the visuals.

If nothing else, maybe the kids at "Robinhood Fanclub" will get a kick out of the trailers. I would submit them right after suggesting jubilation's OCs in "Oo-De-Lally". You can see that one in my favorites. You should als check his gallery--some prime stuff there. More to come...
