Description Sorry for my lack of activity as of late. A parent passed away in early November and creative pursuits haven't been on my list of priorities. I will be slow for a while. But that's not for here, let's focus on what the heck this thing even is.

Multiple people have asked me for tips and tricks on creating believeable fictional animals. I'm not an expert on the subject but have picked up a few things here and there that I think are worth sharing. If you've been following the project dubbed "Lore" or "The Loreverse," you'll probably notice that I've been dipping my toes into that world. It's a passion of mine I've held for a very long time. I've been working on this for almost a full year by this point and am breaking it up into pieces so I can get them out quicker.

So here's the first one. It's not very in-depth but covers a few ideas I feel don't get enough attention when you're trying to put all your ecosystem ducks in a row, and I'm not gonna pretend I'm an expert. Some of my own personal opinions are put in there as well. Some of the wording may be a little strange as well, so I apologize for that. I'm not really looking for advice or critique unless there's factual information that's wrong. It's for fun but maybe someone will get some use out of it.
