Is Chicago... is not Chicago...

Did this drawing on the 'El' elevated train in Chicago over the weekend. I was heading to the Pitchfork Music Festival, one of the coolest places on the face of the earth circa 2007.

I know, I hear the hipper-than-thou set moaning, but it really was quite awesome. I even got a chance to meet Jay Ryan, who I admire. In fact, a good portion of the merchandise section was devoted to 'Flatstock', a collection of screen print artists selling limited edition prints. Nothing but top-notch talent. After walking around those guys for two days I'm feeling fairly inspired... I always wanted to learn how to make screen prints....
