In my NIN worshipping mindset during High School, I classified "Insensatez", my favorite song from the Lost Highway soundtrack, as probably the best elevator music in the world. Such a sardonic melody, etching out a thousand catastrophic romances. I must have played that track three hundred times back then...

Recently I finally bought an Antonio Carlos Jobim CD, and as I listened to the mellow bossa nova, my ears perked up when "Insensatez" queued up. The strength of the track survived its age (and mine too), and I spent another day or so repeating it over and over again. I sketched out a few of the images that, to me went with the music. What follows is the first of these, falling under my recent "photoshop color practice" doodles.
