Description
This is my second Bill Evans rendition in the last week. The first is here: [link]I guess I should actually go into who he was... Well, since the events of the last picture, his chief musical collaborator died. Distraught, Evans retreated from music for a few years all the while falling deeper into heroin addiction. Since he was both brilliant and a jazz musician, he needed that one fatal flaw. At this point he's been coaxed back into playing live shows with a new trio. Here he plays for a stotic German audience who watch him like he's a professor rather than an entertainer.
When he played and soloed, he would bring his face down to his hands. At the earlier concerts he looked to be praying, in Oslo he looked to be nodding off: he winced and mumbled and leant heavily toward his right, though the quality of the music didn't ebb. My picture depicts one of these bowing moments.

More amazing inkwash. The texture on his hair is very nice.
