Holy crap. I thought everyone had forgotten about The Guyver. I'd be at work like yeah man remember him? And everyone always says, "McGuyver?" NO, THE CARTOON. "Oh I don't know that." It's like no one had a childhood LOL

Thanks Chesarae, I tried especially since it's just a quick sketch.

You've got a groovy gallery and I like the way you draw and color your female characters. Keep up the good work.

You can Wiki or Google him for more in-depth coverage on his career but he was the actor who played Sean/Guyver in the second American made live action Guyver flick GUYVER 2: DARK HERO.

Aside from voicing Snake he also writes screenplays for feature films like X-Men and the sequels.

He's quite the talented fellow.

Oh HELL yes. You had me at 1) It's a Guyver pic and 2) referencing Guyver 2: dark hero, which is a hella awesome movie no one really seems to know about.

Oh yes, and 3) naturally you did a great job on the pic. The rough-edged feel of it coupled with the aggressive pose give the pic a phenomenal energy to it. Excellent work! Very well done*

*--oh yeah, and if you ever wanted to draw Guyver 3 that'd be awesome too, man. *L*

G2H... where one of the most seriously awesome squences -- where Sean leaps off a cliff and transforms into armor in mid-air, all in one continuous shot -- is to be found.

Of course, it's also where the lamest attack by Crane's Zoanoid-Guyver is to be found too . . . but I digress. ^_^;

One of MANY great shots in that movie, but yeah . . .considering what they had to work with at the time, that they pulled it off is frankly amazing.

The one where he charges like a bull while walking on his hands? Yeah that's . . .not good. Still better than the entirety of the first movie, tho.

Oh yes... the infamous first L.A. film. I honestly saw that one before I found the original Japanese OAV series. Thank god even with the sappy, cheezy performances in the film, I still gave the OAVs their due... I haven't been disappointed since. ^_^

I saw it in reverse, actually--the OAVs (which were--and ARE--still awesome and I wish they were in print still) and then that first movie which . . .oh wow. It hurt.

I've given the newer series a try but I'm kinda mixed on it.
