This piece was done on a 9 1/2 inch by 12 inch piece of watercolor board for practice and to see how itΒ would take theΒ markers.

Very true. If memory serves me sometime in the late 90's early 00's Marvel did do a Space Knights reboot. Dunno if ROM was featured in that book or not as it's all a hazy blur for books that came out in that time.

actually there's a surprisingly amount of Rom fan art out there thanks to a lot of his fans from the 80s that are still around. i come across 2-3 new pieces a month like this one i just found today.

The original toy design is pretty cool too. I was torn on whether or not to draw that version of the sleeker comic version. Maybe I'll do the other one sometime in the future.
