A shot of a character that I was playing around with, trying to give her an identity of aloofness and detachment. Kinda works, maybe? I dunno, with shorthand sketches like these it's easy to simplify things to their barest components. Once you start noodling and adding lines just for the sake of adding lines a lot of the original intent can be lost.

I've often struggled with the idea that my art HAD to have a million lines in it or else folks would see it as not being as "detail" heavy as other artists. I still tend to noodle on stuff more than I should but I love a clean looking gesture and contour reliant piece much more. I think I need to have a bit more faith in myself to do stuff like that.

She was originally supposed to be holding a comic book under her arm but I erased it for some reason. She was also supposed to have a bunch of swords sticking out of a backpack but I left that out as well.

For the folks worried about her bare bottom, she is wearing tights of some sort but if her being naked and free works for you then you have my blessings, ya sickos!
