Description
Dragon sketch card that I illustrated a while back. The shot on the left is an example of how loose my layouts for a sketch card can be. Basically it's just two ovals that I then doodle all the detail on.Drawn with an F lead, inked with a Micron .01 pen, colored with my trusty Prismacolor markers with some Prismacolor white colorpencil for kicks.

I'm sorry to hear that the project lost steam but I did have fun working on this card. I don't get to draw enough dragons actually!

Thanks Lew! I usually do the pointy-snout type dragons so I really wanted to play around with the facial structure a bit and give it a more chunky look.

I typically try to give them more Godzilla-esque snouts myself, but only because I'm always afraid if I do any different, their heads will look too large in proportion to their bodies.
