Nice composition. I especially like the use of black and white with the girl in the background. But why is there so little shadow on Hellboy's belt, while his torso and legs look so great with all the black?

Just some artistic license on my part. I didn't want to lose any of the detail of the belt and junk but your right, there should have been some shadows on it given the way the light works on the rest of the image.

I love how this is done. The expression on everyone, nice once of liz and abe. You got the stance of HB so well. Was it in a contest at the con? just curious. Really great piece.

Naw, no contest. Every year the Convention offers a souvenior (sp?) book that anyone can submit to. Unfortunately this was one of the years I couldn't attend so I don't know if they used it or not. The "Harpy 40th" Creepy pick was also submitted.
