Description
Well, here's the second piece to the Little Devil. The Little Angel here works hard to make sure everything turns out just right.Maybe she's paying too much attention to getting the job done?

So, how many angels can pole-dance on the head of a pencil?

Depends on how friendly said angels are.

This is one of my favorite concepts! Where the art comes alive right on the page.
You can imagine I don't get out much.. anyways, I love the line art and the little extras like the eraser and the guidelines. Great job!

One of the guilty pleasures of being an artist, much like the drawing with the artist's stick-doll.
Both dirty and funny, captured in a that suggests great effort and attention to detail with a 4th-Wall Twist.
Very Good. Very Original.
I've had a chance to view a lot of your gallery. Keep it up!

This one is great. I don't know what some men have with tiny sexy women... It reminded me of a little desktop fairy I found playing around with my pencil about eight years ago (WARNING: explicit nudity!) [link]
Your Little Angel is going directly to my favorites.

I personally love the set-up. Very creative how the artist himself is a part of the picture, and is checking out his little angel's behind. Cute, very cute.

I love the composition of this piece. Reminds me of a Looney Tune cartoon where Bugs Bunny is being manipulated by Elmer Fudd at the drawing board.

Excellent work here! It's something every guy wants to do to the curvy, short skirted femmes running around, but have too much dignity to even think about trying. Your linework is as always wonderful.

Very beautiful stalk,
As much as I love a nice tightly drawn pair of cheeks, I also love the compostion and the concept behind (pun?) this piece as well. It's sensual, cute, and superbly drawn. Seeing your art is a highlight of my day.
bravo man!

Why thank you very much for the awesome comment on this piece. Alot of this stuff I post on here and figure it's good to catch a few comments or critiques here and there, but occasionally you get something like what you put here that makes an artist understand and appreciate why they post here on DA.
Once again, thank you.

Aw, you don't want my crappy art skillz. You want Travis Charest or Adam Hughes (two influences by the way)
I've been drawing since I can remember but for the past ten years and change comics seem to have been taking up more of my time. Lately my art has gone a tad into the cartoony side...something I have to admit I'm not too satisfied with, but that could be my early interest in animation (esp. Anime) showing thru as I've tried to evolve my style.
References? Do you mean influences? As for reference, I don't really use any. Most of the stuff I draw I just see in my head unless it's something specific that I want to recreate on paper or that a writer asks for in a script.
I should load up some of the stuff I have from ten years ago...that way you can see how far I've come with just patience and dedication. Draw, draw, draw. Carry a sketchbook wherever you go, and take every chance you get to draw. Doodle on napkins at restaurants (aside from the tip I find the wait staff to like this)

you see for a good few years i put down the sketchpad to pursue other things, and only in the last, say 9 months have i picked it up again.
in those 9 months my art has been more than it ever was- 'drawing the marvel way' really helped me out, even just with shapes to build up a picture and using different pencils. i however still need references, as i'm completely useless with clothes. and hair.
i tend to restrict to fanart and a little of my own stuff, but that's usually it. my writing has been the real driving point, as i'm always more happy with my writing. it's helped me form narrative inspiration too, but i just can't render on paper exactly what i see in my head..which is basically my goal. since i've started drawing i picked up comics again too
which i can't believe i put down in the first place, although i've moved on from the vibrant green pastures of marvel to pursue image and DDP comics- spawn, witchblade, tomb raider, magdelena, the evil dead...
so basically i'm here on the road to artdom once again, and looking at work like yours makes me remember how far i've got to go. but i'm glad that it could, just maybe, get better than it already is. i certainly hope so, cos pants are really hard to draw sometimes...
thank you stalk. sorry for the rant.

No worries, man.
It's good to hear that someone has gone and comeback into the artistic fold, especially comics.
I too took a break for awhile, choosing to pursue other things (like my wife ) and I can't tell you how much I missed all this.
The only advice I want you to take to heart is that no matter how good you get you can always get better. That goes for everyone...EVERYONE!

Well many thanks for you time Stalk. (you didn't 'Stalk' your wife, no?)
it was always a form of art that appealed, in a time b4 puberty hit. and then i forgot about spider man and venom and x-men..i just got bored and didn't have the money.
I believe it was witchblade that brought me back. the more adult style (and Sara Pezzini o' course) just hit me. i found deviant art, and i felt like drawing again, and then it all picked up again. now i'm here, with a whole sketchbook of fresh pics uninked and unseen. that's what deviantart is for...
to be honest i would like to see myself stick at the drawing for 10 years, just to see how it comes out... i would really like that.
thanks again...i'll visit your gallery from time to time, and i can't wait for more deviations from you...
frozen soul, thawing out. :salutes:
