Kate Beckett, again.

I need to draw familiar faces when testing something new. I bought tinted Strathmore paper and a white pastel pencil the other day. I wasn't planning to draw straight away, but ya know, new material, gotta try it. So I drew this on the train.

I finished this last Saturday, but was contemplating on posting it here or not since I'm not quite satisfied with how the nose turned out. But then again, I did draw this on a train, so perhaps one day I'll draw it behind a desk that doesn't move and make it better.

Tinted/toned paper is new for me, so if you have any tips or tricks on how to work with this, please leave me a comment!
