Thought I'd draw Brooklyn up, he's my favorite character from the Disney cartoon Gargoyles that debuted back in 1994Don't think I did as good a job at capturing his features, but hey I've never drawn him before so I'm satisfied with this first try.

Haha, thank you, it's just that I was looking up this series because I didn't know anything about it, and I found this character I instantly like him, I don't why?, maybe it's because of the big fangirls of the show who consider him the most handsome of all the gargoyles,

In the show or in this picture?Β In the show, he was born in 958 and the show begins in the year 994.Β SinceΒ gargoyles age one half of humans, he's 36, but looks and acts like an 18-year-old.Β I'm not sure if that's the age the artist was trying toΒ capture here, but that's how old he is in the beginning of the show

I used to watch this all the time when I was younger in the early 00's during the latenight. But now I'm watching it all over again and falling in love with the show again! Now I can understand it!!

Oddly enough, when I was a kid, Lexington was my favorite, but now it's totally Brooklyn all the way 
I never got the movie or anything when I was a kid, but it was on my must watch list when I'd get home from school every day. I have the DVD's now though so I'm satisfied lol, except they need to release Volume 2, Season 2 already

Hahhaa I actually just went out to buy the first season cause I saw this picture. I'm starting to get back into Gargoyle mode now. Hahah. They don't have season 2?! I thought they just ran out at the store. ;___;

Well they do have Volume 1 of Season 2, they have all of Season 1, so you can get everything except the last half of season 2. I think it's because Disney wanted to see how much of a demand it was for Season 1 & Volume 1, Season 2 before they released the dvd for Volume 2, Season 2.
I hope they do eventually though

yeah I'm kinda bummed that I can't find many cartoons that I truly enjoy anymore, they're all leaning more toward...just being stupid
I'm glad ya like him though, I believe this was my first attempt at drawing Brooklyn, I was always too scared to try for fear of not doing him justice lol

Same here but luckly I tried it out! I drew my character similar to Brooklyn but with clothes, a new hair color, muscles, and a tattoo on both his arms. Check him out when you have a chance. He is seen under my profile!

I might have made his legs too buff plus I had a troll hitting on my photo. Luckly I told him that he's a gargoyle and he trilled somewhere else.

nah it's all about practice really, that and fleshing out a character or even perhaps your art style. My characters change all the time

drawing, drawing and more drawing is a very good way to get all that practice in, and before you know it you'll be looking back and thinking "wow look how far along I've come!"

Yeah. That's what I've been doing whenever I finish my art. My funny idea for my drawing is when my character crashes into a broadway show!
