From some time I wanted my own little Masked Man guarding my desktop, but maiming and putting stuff on a Lucas amiibo seemed kinda painful to me. So, after watching some good tutorials and getting the materials (the polymer clay is a little difficult to get here), it was time to give it a try. This is my very first attempt at sculpting something. I started following the concept art (very important for basic proportions), but then, I got lazier and ended making some changes on the design or obviating some details.

The statue is made with oven-bake Sculpey on a galvanized wire and aluminium foil skeleton, and was painted with acrylic paint. The white parts glow nicely in the dark (too bad my outdated camera couldn't fully capture it). It's placed over a hollow wooden base, where the LED circuit is kept inside.

The statue is around 14cm (5.5in) tall and works with a 3v cell battery. The lights can be turn on/off independently.

It was a refreshing way of spending some of my free times during this month, I'll keep practicing on other little projects I have in mind (a Lucas' final smash trophy, perhaps?).

My mother called him "Astroboy" and my father said "Oh that's a nice looking Pokémon"
