TRUSTWORTHY Theo is very loyal to just about everyone, except those who he dislikes. Even if someone doesn’t like him, which is very possible because he gets quite annoying, he would put their lives in front of theirs for almost anything. He is also very good at keeping his mouth shut and keeping secrets.
COCKY Theo seems very into himself, but he really isn’t. He picked up a cocky personality during his training so he wouldn’t seem weak and quiet. He may boast about himself a lot, but he actually doesn’t think much of himself.

Background
Early Life
Theodoron was born to two African Golden cats. His family was used as practice targets in the Coliseum. His owners sold him to a wealthy trainer at the age of 8 months, and he was soon after put into a small training arena. He was set to fight against a young lioness, a natural-born killer. She had been training for the past year, and this was her first fight in an arena. She had been training so long because the trainer had planned to get lots of money off of her, but his plans quickly ended when Theo began to fight. Theo killed the young lioness, without a scratch on him. The trainer, enraged at the small African Golden cat, opened up the doors to let loose his two best fighters; a black jaguar and a tiger. Theo, exhausted from fighting the lioness but still with some energy, was fueled by the thought of death. He managed to anger the two Coliseum champions by dodging, running, taunting…eventually they turned on one another. The tiger died first, and when the jaguar barely had any strength to go on, Theo killed him as well.
The trainer was now rethinking the idea of killing the African Golden cat. Instead, he decided to train him. For the next year, Theo was trained in the arena with the trainers many other cats. His best friend was a tigress. At the time, none of the cats had names. The trainer refused to name any of his cats until he decided they were ready for the Coliseum. The African Golden cat didn’t mind his life in training. He was fed well and he got to tussle with the other young trainees without getting in trouble. The worst part was at night, when he was put into a cage to sleep. But even that wasn’t so bad, because his cage was right next to the snow leopard’s. They would sit up and talk until one of them fell asleep, then they would wake up together and spend the rest of the day together.
One day, however, everything Theodoron knew about his life was flipped upside down.
Instead of going into the small home-owned arena that they typically practiced in, Theo’s trainer took him, the tigress, and a few others to the Coliseum to get signed up for the first fights. When the men running the tournament asked for their names, his trainer gave Theo his name based on his story; “God’s gift”. He believed Theodoron was meant to come to him, and meant to win for him. His friend, the tigress, was given the name Iovita.
The next day, Theo was in his first Coliseum fight.
He was pitted against a serval, which he killed quickly. She had been young. Theo hated it. The next day, he killed a caracal. The tournament was for smaller cats, so he easily reached the finals. The last cat he had to fight was a vicious bobcat. It was larger than him, and much more experienced. Theo was obviously the underdog.
But Theo had been the underdog before.
The smaller African Golden cat managed to exhaust the bobcat without laying one claw on the other cat’s pelt. When the bobcat could barely move anymore, Theo took a quick swipe across the thing’s throat and killed it almost instantly.
Theodoron won the tournament, but lost part of his sanity. For a long time, all Theo could think about was his claws ripping apart flesh and the sharp tang of blood on his tongue. Not soon after he won, Iovita had won hers as well. The two friends became more distant, and after a few more wins and kills, they had almost all together forgotten about each other, obsessed with their new lives.
Theodoron’s trainer was getting old. And rich. He was coming close to retirement, and was planning on selling his cats off to other owners. At first, Theo didn’t think this was such a big deal. But then, he and Iovita were sold off to separate owners. Theo met a new cat named Naram that belonged to his new owner, and she explained that their owner and Iovita's new owner were rivals, and their cats were always pitted against each other. Theo realized that this meant he may be fighting against his best friend, and one of them would have to die.
The new cat also told him of these rumors of cats escaping the Coliseum and living out in the wild. Right away, the idea sounded absurd to a cat who had lived all three years of his life in cages and arenas, but then the older cat told him how they really lived, back before the humans used them for sport. Cats used to live scattered all around the world; in reality, an African Golden cat and a tiger should never have met in the first place. But now the wild cats lived in the forests and plains and mountains around the city.
Escape became Theo’s number one priority. He didn’t want to have to kill anymore. He didn’t want to fight against his best friend. He began plotting with himself, coming up with ideas and plans. He learned he was supposed to fight his best friend in a few weeks, so his plans became real. He was going to escape, one way or another.
Escaping Hell
Finally, finally, Theo had a plan.
It wasn’t even really his own plan. He had devised it with a number of different cats. One was Naram. Another was a big, muscular Eurasian lynx, his body covered in scars, whom they had told the stories of the wild cats after the matches and tournaments. There were also five others. All the cats were to win their matches that night, and when they were settled down in their cages between the fights, they would escape.
Not all of the cats won that night. Two died in the battles, but that did not stop the others from executing their plan of escape. The lynx got out first, and he helped the others break out, as well. The six of them crept through the shadows of the streets. Adrenaline was pulsing through Theo’s paws. His mixed emotions of excitement and terror probably helped him survive as long as he did after the guards spotted them.
Three of the youngest cats ran off first. Theo didn’t know where they had gone, but the oldest of the group, the lynx, and his friend Naram, were right beside him. He wasn’t about to leave them. The lynx told them to run ahead, and they didn’t argue. But what none of them realized was that the moment they stepped outside of the gates, there were feline guards waiting for them.
The fight was something different than Theo had ever experienced before. This time, he wasn’t fighting to please a crowd of humans, or earn money for his owner. He wasn’t fighting just to spend another night in the damp cages. He was fighting for himself; for his own freedom.
It didn’t last long, however. One of the larger guards managed to knock Theo out completely unconscious, and later he would thank the Gods that they had presumed him dead. When he opened his eyes, he laid under a pile of brush, the bright sunlight beaming on his face. He was covered in blood; but not his own. It must have been one of the guards, and when the cats had seen it all, they had assumed it was his, and left him there. His head hurt, but he was okay. He tried to follow the scents of his friends, but found nothing. They had run off, he hoped. He didn’t want to think that they had been recaptured or killed. Theo, unsure what to do at this point, followed the shoreline west. He lived on his own for four moons. Four moons he searched and searched for the wild cats he had heard so much about. After a while, he assumed that Naram had been only spreading rumors and tall tales.
He had nothing left to do. He walked back east, still following the shoreline. His plan was to go back to the city and either get killed by the guards or get thrown back into the Coliseum to eventually be killed. But as he was making his way back, he noticed, off in the distance, the mountains. Theo stared. The margay had said cats lived in the mountains. He looked closer again, running towards them. Closer to him still, was the open plains and forests. Theo’s heart raced. He couldn’t believe it! All this time, the places he had been looking for were right there! Right back near the city! He didn’t know which way to go, so he headed for the trees, where he was found by a Fire Empire patrol. The rumors were true. He was taken to the camp, and, to his excitement, to his lynx friend, who was the leader of this new life.
Theodoron asked Soren where Naram was; the lynx didn’t know. Now they live in Fire Empire, and they both swear to find their old friend again. And, even more, Theo vowed to himself to find out what happened to his oldest friend, the tigress he had trained with. If Iovita was still fighting in the Coliseum, he prayed dearly that she was still alive. If she had escaped…he would find her again.

Sure c:
Here's an example: [link] Basically you post and you just have to keep checking back at the journal to see if anyone has replied to you. But you don't reply directly to a post; you just keep leaving comments on the same journals and such. You read the posts so the newest ones are on top...I don't know, it's hard to explain, but it's really easy to get the hang of it c: and addicting, too hehe
You wanna note RP for now though? And who is your character? c:

OMG Awesome story. This character is amazing. I could totally see Nakita following Theo around just like she stalks "Uncle" Brutus XD
Nakita: Her blue eyes twinkled as she crept up to the African Golden Cat before her. "Hi" Nakita said, her inquisitive nature getting the better of her.

Theodoron: He smiled over at the cat trailing behind him and flicked his tail to her nose. "Hey there, kiddo." He laughed. "Whatcha starin' at?"

Nakita: The little tiger cub sneezed as the tip of the feline's tail tickled her nose. "I'm starin' at a Gladiator, duh." she replied with a mischievous smirk. She fluffed herself up to make herself look bigger and started playfully sizing up the Golden Cat. "I'm the toughest Gladiator her." She professed proudly.

Theo: The African Golden cat laughed loudly and said, "Gladiator? Aren't tigers supposed to be...Oh, I don't know...a bit larger? To be perfectly honest, you seem like kind of a shrimp to me," he joked, trying to get her fired up.

Nakita: "HEY!" Nakita huffed, as she puffed up her chest some more, "I'm plenty big." Just to emphasize this point she stood just as tall as she possible could, causing her to stand up on her tippy toes, lose her balance and topple over. Her cheeks puffed up in indignation as she clambered back to her paws, and without warning pounce on this infuriating feline.

Theo: Theo had been too busy laughing to realize that the feiry tiger cub was coming at him. He felt her sturdy body plow into him, but he quickly just flipped back over, shoving his paws against her chest to shove her off. He cried out, "You'll have to fight better than that, fearsome Gladiator!"

Nakita: Nakita blinked as she was forced down off the Gladiator, "You haven't seen anything yet!" she retorted as she charged straight at him, only to duck down under his belly at the last minute to try and throw him off balance while using the body's natural range of motion to keep herself out of striking range. She smiled with the thrill of having new 'prey' to pursue.

Theo: Theo smiled at the charging cub, and when she ducked between his legs, he pushed himself off to the side, rolling over his back and to his paws once again. He huffed, "You've got some pretty good moves for a cub. But you can't be sneaky with me, honey. I'm smaller than you. Think...big." He smiled and spread his paws apart, preparing for another attack.

Nakita: Nakita cocked her head to one side at the Gladiator's comment."Think big?" she mused in a quizzical tone. The confusion subsided as she realized that she was indeed a bit larger than him. She'd been so used to being around larger Gladiators that she hadn't taken this into consideration. The little cub paused a moment to rethink her tactics before she charged in again, rearing up on her hind legs to try and wrestle the Gladiator to the ground.

Theo: The young cub was slower than him. With a crooked grin he simply took a few steps backwards to avoid her attack. "Hah! You are a good fighter, sweetie," he gushed. "When you're an apprentice, I'm sure you'll do great."
((haha okay we should probably stop soon so there isn't a train of comments on my app sheet xD))

((lol sorry. I got carried away XD ))
Nakita: The cub's cheeks puffed up in indignation at her inability to best the Gladiator. She fluffed herself up once more and said, "Just you wait. I'll best you one day!" With that she turned to pad away, calling over her shoulder, "I'm Nakita by the way." Off she trotted to find new 'prey' to stalk.

Maybe I should change my plan. The past few apps I've looked at are African or Asian golden cats. My plan was to make an African golden cat, but then I procrastinated on a ref, and I'm not so sure. Maybe I'll just choose another species that can have the markings I planned out.

Whoops! I guess I just focused on the "Golden Cat" part XD. I haven't done blog RP before, but I've been kicking around several forum-based RPs for the past 10 years and I've tried chat-based RPs as well. They could be related on Circe's mom's side, since I haven't specified exactly what kind of cat she is.

Haha sure XD So Circe is half Asian and half African Golden cat? And...her mom could be African Golden cat? Um...how old is Circe? What if Circe's mom was Theo's sister? So Theo would be her uncle c: But that depends on Circe's age, of course, too.
