Interesting drawing, but you might want to reduce the amount of shadowing around the outline of the floating character, because it makes the ceiling look like a flattish surface. Also, you might want to add more shadowing to the cat (body and area below its feet) so it looks like it fits better into the picture!

The concept is great and your enviroment awareness is fantastic. I think maybe you need to work a bit more on how to draw characters and shading. You've obviously got the patience when it comes to shading, but I think it can't hurt to take reference photos just to get an idea of how light effects the body and the best way to use blacks.
