Description
Commission for Otto2525Concept technical 6 view profile drawing of the Multi-role Night Operation and Ground Support version from North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco.
Based on OV-10X + (Ground) Strike Bronco
Design
Together with Boeing, plans internally to build a modernized, improved version of the Bronco, called the OV-10X, while the aircraft would maintain much of its 1960s-vintage rugged external design, the 21st century modernizations would include a computerized glass cockpit, intelligence sensors and smart-bomb-dropping capabilities. Those major upgrades should be capable of finding, tracking, and attacking targets either on its own or in support of ground forces.
As a counter-insurgency aircraft, featuring new Hartzell six-bladed props and an off-the-shelf sensor suite. Bigger engine outputs with infrared-suppressive exhaust stacks (which mix the exhaust with colder air to reduce the aircraft's heat signature). Equipped with square chaff dispensers midway down the booms and with new wiring and strengthened wings. All cockpit display instrumentation's was changed to digital glass cockpit.
Upgrades
The FLIR turret gets upgraded to the AN/AAQ-39. To push the envelope the AN/AAQ-37 and the laser turret heads for the ATIRCM system mounted on the booms outboard and aft of the wheel wells.
A package like that would make this an absolute night sniper but give it super observation and counter measures.
Upgraded material of the landing gears makes it capable of operating from semi-prepared runways such as grass or dirt surfaces.
Defensive package: defensive measures, including a Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS), a Radar warning receiver (RWR), and chaff and flare dispensers. More radically, C-MUSIC Laser Beam Anti-missile defense system in smaller version defense-update.com/wp-content/…
Armored cockpit and engines.
Long loiter time. The aircraft able to fly more then 5 hour sorties (with 30 minute fuel reserves)
Data link capability.
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. The aircraft features laser track and designate targeting system, as well as track targets using electro-optical and infrared video/still images.
Weaponry. The aircraft have the capability of aerial gunnery, either with an integrated or pylon mounted gun.
Aerobatic capabilities, capable of maneuvers such as the Immelmann turn , Cuban eight , and Split S .

I like it a lot. Prop planes are good for ow and slow flight and can still carry a damn impressive bit of firepower. You did a great job on the paint scheme and general look of the aircraft as well

Nice job
I think US standard gun is a little light for CAS but it's use would be logical as it will use existing stock of ammo.
