HI I'M NOT DEADmy wisdom teeth removal recovery was kind of. awful. to the point where i couldnt sit up for more than a minute because of nauseousness,, it lasted way longer than i thought it would too. glad to say that i've gotten past the worst of it and can finally draw!! ;O; i've missed it so much ghfng <3
this year i reallly want to try to share more of my original characters and their world, plus try to step out of my comfort zone. in this one i tried to push for a simplistic style, because i tend to overcomplicate everything i do hhhh it ended up being extremely fun and relaxing tho! these two dorks are the main protagonists in my story in progress, which for now is called Arvea. i've been planning it for years now, and at l a s t i'm getting close to being ready to start writing the official plotline. i'm super excited and i hope you guys enjoy this type of stuff!!
(also expect some breath of the wild fanart e7e)

Yay, I'm glad everything went well in the end and that you can draw again which is, of course, the most important thing
Also I'm really curious about that story? You've worked on it for years?! I imagine amazing things there

i am too!! honestly, I'm just thankful that nothing went wrong during the surgery ^^''''
about 3-4 years to be exact!! a ton of it has been planning and fleshing out the characters, and at last I think i'm ready to actually write the story. i'm so excited to share it ;O;

Woah heck, 3-4 years, that's so much! The story's really been a part of your life then, I guess?
I've had a story in mind and worked on it for one year at the most so far, and afterwards I'd slowly lose connection to characters and such? How'd you keep it up this long?

Yeees very much so!! it's always been there in the back of my head.
ahh i reaLLY know that feeling; i think a reason that it's taken so long to write it is because i lost touch so often and had to re-remember it ^^'' especially with the characters.
but the one thing that keeps me coming back to it is sort of just like,, "i've done so much with it already, i can't stop now" sort of thinking. plus the image of it one day being a published book is really motivating <'3
bUT you said you've had stories in mind?? are they fantasy sort of things?

Yes exactly, so you too you can't always keep up the speed you'd desire? Haha that's so interesting, I'm thinking the exact same thing like "there I have this basis and come on you can't give up on it just yet". c: And me too I have that picture of an accomplished and published story in my mind? What I have to struggle with is that thing of "making it good". I began working on my story, which was initially inspired by Warrior Cats haha, just as pure fun and out of curiosity; I first had maybe a short story in mind, if any? I then just kept writing without any plan and heck I made it to 400 hundred pages without ever truly plotting and stuff? It was just tremendous fun making up scenes you would spontaneously like to "experience" in your head now.
It was until I then started reading about how to write good stories and such, and slowly I lost this capability to not care about quality in the writing process? Now when I try, all those thoughts about how you could make it better and how it's maybe not right come up and they just never allow me to immerse into and enjoy the story again? Have you experienced the same? Or have you got strategies to overcome this?
Well anyway, I'm now trying to work on a fantasy story in the future that bases on the initial story since I just can't get away from my characters I've created years ago. they're now grown up and it makes me emotional, haha
