This shot was soon before the young man on the left was arrested. The police line started to move forward, but this man covered his face and stood his ground despite police orders to move. He covered his face to protect himself from officers macing him(I'm guessing). The police then pushed him behind the police line and arrested him fairly roughly as eyewitnesses behind the police line later informed me.
