riot police clearing the streets in madison, wisconsin following a comparitively trouble-free halloween saturday night.it was a little surreal watching them from my freind's window ledge. they had voice activated radios on that sounded like the stormtroopers of star wars. but their prescence was reminiscent of another form of stormtrooper. i'm trying to insult my local law enforcement with that last comment, they did a fine job.
